Rickshaw Google Nexus 7 Tablet Sleeve Review

So you’ve bought a Google Nexus 7 Android tablet and want to keep it looking shiny and new, right? The Rickshaw Nexus 7 Sleeve will easily do that for you and you can even have it made to your own favorite color specifications.

Note: Images can be clicked to view a larger size.

San Francisco based Rickshaw Bags will hand make this sleeve with your color choices for the exterior, interior, binding and even the label. You can choose from 42 colors of Cordura, 13 colors of tweed or 3 colors of waterproof X-Pac material for the exterior of this sleeve. I went with Mariner Cordura for the exterior.

For the binding, there are 42 Cordura color choices. I went with Flannel.

You can pick from 15 colors for the plush lining. I went with Silver Grey. Last but not least, you can even customize the Rickshaw label by choosing from 18 colors. My choice was Sandstone.

The Rickshaw Nexus sleeve is a simple product, so there’s not a lot to say about it. It’s just an open topped vertical sleeve. But that said, it does what it has been designed to do. It protects your tablet from every day abuse. The plush lining offers padding that will protect the tablet from bumps and knocks, while also cleaning finger prints and smudges from the display as you slide it in and out of the sleeve.

Like I mentioned above, these custom sleeves are made in San Francisco California. The materials are top end and construction is first rate. The price isn’t out of bounds either. I have no complaints about this sleeve. Get one.
